The Anaiza Nest purple sand clay kung fu tea set is a full tea table for eight, made for a tea lover who hosts often. Every piece is dark purple sand clay banded with painted silver mountains. A 230 ml turning brewer on its base releases tea into a 200 ml fairness pitcher with one turn of the lid, beside eight 70 ml cups, a 200 ml host cup, a tea caddy, a wash bowl, tea tools and a clay horse tea pet. Everything packs into a grey carry case. Packed by hand in Dhaka, with cash on delivery.

Why is the purple sand clay tea set a good gift?
Every piece is made of purple sand clay and banded in silver-grey with a painted mountain range. At its centre is a turning brewer on a raised base: you turn the lid to release the tea into the pitcher, so brewing is easy even for a beginner. Eight cups, a larger host cup, a tea caddy, a tea wash bowl, a set of tea tools and a small clay horse complete the table, and everything packs into a grey carry case with a handle and clasps.

How does the turning brewer work?
Brew the leaves, then turn the lid: the tea flows from the brewer's spout down into the fairness pitcher on the base, and the leaves stay behind.
What is the little horse for?
It is a tea pet, a small clay figure that sits on the tea table and is "fed" with the last drops of each pot. Over months it darkens and shines. The horse stands for strength and success.
What is purple sand clay?
Purple sand clay, or zisha, is a dense, iron-rich clay known for holding heat and for slowly taking on the flavour of the tea brewed in it. Keep it for one kind of tea, and rinse it with hot water only, without soap.
How is it delivered?

How do I care for it?
Rinse each piece with hot water only, without soap, soon after use; purple sand clay slowly takes on the flavour of the tea. Brew one kind of tea in it. Warm the brewer before pouring in boiling water. Not for the microwave or dishwasher. Dry every piece fully, lids off, before closing the case.
