Description
The Anaiza Nest lotus ceramic tea jar keeps loose tea dry and close at hand, and makes a gift the whole household uses every day. A pink lotus blooms across white glazed ceramic, finished with a wooden lid. It holds 720 ml, enough for about 145 g of black tea or 110 g of green tea. It arrives in its own gift box, ready to hand over at Eid, a housewarming or a visit to your parents. Packed by hand in Dhaka, with cash on delivery.
A tea jar stays on the shelf long after the visit.
Why is the lotus tea jar a good gift?
A tea jar is a gift for the whole household. This one sits on the kitchen shelf or the dining sideboard, comes out every time tea is made, and is seen by every guest. A pink lotus blooms across white glazed ceramic, finished with a warm wooden lid. It arrives in its own gift box, so there is nothing more to wrap before Eid, a housewarming or a visit to your parents.
How much tea does it hold?
The jar holds 720 ml. How many grams that is depends on the tea, because some leaves are light and open, and some are rolled tight.
Loose-leaf teaAbout how much fits
White tea | 40 g
Green tea, such as Longjing | 110 g
Black tea, such as lapsang souchong | 145 g
Rolled oolong, such as Tieguanyin | 180 g
Pu-erh | 180 g
How do you keep tea fresh in it?
Tea loses its taste to light, damp and strong smells. The ceramic body keeps light out, and the wooden lid closes over the opening. Keep the jar away from the stove and the spice shelf, and always use a dry spoon. It suits sugar, coffee beans and other dry foods too.
What size is the jar?
- Jar: about 11.8 cm wide and 10.6 cm high, with a 7 cm opening.
- Weight: about 570 g.
- Gift box: 17 × 17 × 14.5 cm.
How is it delivered?
Every jar is checked and packed by hand in Dhaka. Delivery takes 1 to 3 days inside Dhaka and 3 to 5 days across Bangladesh, with cash on delivery, or bKash, Nagad or Rocket. If it arrives damaged, send us the unboxing video within 3 days and we will put it right.

How do I care for it?
Wipe the outside with a soft, dry cloth. Wash the inside by hand with warm water only when the jar is empty, then let the jar and the wooden lid dry fully before filling. Do not soak the wooden lid. Not for the microwave or dishwasher. Keep away from the stove and direct sun.
